Closing the loop
- Convert grew out of creating and using the first responsible
resource of post -- consumer nylon -- including Type 6 and Type 6,6
nylon-in a new design platform.
- Dramatically reduces our use of virgin resources -- up to 70%
total recycled content, including as much as 38% post-consumer
content.
- InterfaceFLOR is first in its industry to earn an Environmental
Product Declaration (EPD) for its Convert products. The EPD
evaluates consistent factors based on full life cycle assessment
(LCA). InterfaceFLOR is committed to having an EPD on all products
globally by the end of 2012.
